Pseudo cereals

Pseudo cereals they carry higher nutritional value than cereal grains in quality of protein composition, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
They also compose adequate essential fatty acids which are helpful in the prevention of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, osteoporosis, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Their vitamin-E content is as a natural defense against lipid oxidation, fights against free radicals and pevents cell damage and injury.

Musaceae plants

RS2 resistant starches, potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, fibers and antioxidants.
Consumption of green bananas increase nutrient absorption, improve digestion, lower blood pressure, boost the metabolism and regulate blood sugar levels. The dietary fibers regulate excess cholesterol by scraping it from arteries and blood vessels, which can lower the risk of atherosclerosis and heart attacks, as well as coronary heart disease.

Legumes

Easily digested protein and a great source of fibres and iron.

Legume consumption is associated with a slimmer waist and lower blood pressure, and randomized trials have shown it may be improving the regulation of blood sugar, insulin levels, and cholesterol. Beans are packed with fiber, folate, and phytates, which may help reduce the risk of stroke, depression, and colon cancer. 

Herbs and spices

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds from chili, garlic, onions and green herbs.

Oregano, basil and other green herbs appear to improve immune function and inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeasts and molds, and remove inflammation.

Herbs and spices are also in the spotlight for their potential cancer prevention qualities.
